                                “David sometimes can be angry like a lion, but also he is my brother”

David is 23 years old, David is from Mexico. In Mexico David lived with his sister because their parents are in the United States for economic reasons. The most difficult part when David came was adaptations to the language and the changes of the countries, because in the United States the people do not know you. David remembers about the border that when he crossed it was difficult, he was tired and the food and water was almost over. David doesn’t felt scare when he came, but when he felt tired he felt frustrated.

                When David walked he felt like every immigrant and tired, never he doubted that he was getting, only the thing that makes David felt bad was that he didn’t have a lot of water and food. The thing that he likes about his experience is that he saw the value of life, he saw that when you came to the United States depends of you how you wants your life. David doesn’t want to try cross the border again. Now David doesn’t miss anything from Mexico, at first David’s struggle to adapt because all his life passed in Mexico. The biggest difference between United States and Mexico is that in United States David have more opportunities to learn more things. In every place you can have opportunities if you find.

When David came he felt happy because he discovered a new country. David came to the United States because his parents decided. When David came to the United States he studied music, he did not go to the High School. David came at 14 old and at 15 years he starts to work. David works playing music. David didn’t want to return to Mexico to live there because his life now is in the United States; he only wants to visit to know the new people there.

                Currently David live in San Francisco CA. The decision of coming to the United States did not change the relationship between his friends. At first, when he came to the United States he missed his friend. The first year he felt sad, he took like 1 to adapt to this country because is difficult when you don’t speak English. Now in the United States he feels comfortable, he feels good. He feels good because this country brings many opportunities, also he feels good because he has his parents here.

                Currently he works in a company called Herbalife. His hobby is playing music, because he likes and he thinks that is an inheritance from the family, his father taught him to play vihuela, a Mexican guitar. He didn’t remember when he came to the United States.
