Two Cultures

By: Jorge Temaj

I interviewed my teacher. Her name is M.S Puja. She is from America and India. My interview is about two cultures and what is the difference between two cultures is. M.S Puja went to India four times. The first time when she was two years old, the second time when she was seven years old, the third time when she was twelve year old, and the last time when she has twenty one year old. She loves her country, she loves India. She loves the colors, she loves the food, and she loves the food in India. She knows a little Hindi but she want to learn more. For example, she know Spanish very well but Hindi only a little. She wants to learn more Hindi. She felt lucky and special because she learns different things of different countries. She learns about her culture at her home. Her parents tell her, also at temple and trips to Indi. She thinks the biggest difference is how people communicate and interact. For example in Indi many people in one house like: Uncles brothers and sisters in America more like it’s on apartments. Also the language is different and the young people have les freedom, for example, they don’t have girlfriends in India. In India they eat a lot of rice and carry with many spices. She identifies with two nationalities: American and Indian. She feels both countries are friendly.
