This story is a about a girl named Irene Medina. She is from El Salvador, also she has been in this country for nine months. Irene Medina felt sad and upset because she left her mom and grandmother in El Salvador. Irene liked the immigration adventure because she came on an airplane and because she was going to see her family. Irene Medina came to this country in February 2010. She feels happy because she is learning many different languages in this country and making new friends. The thing that Irene Medina misses the most is her family. Irene Medina didn’t want to come to this country because it was going to be difficult learning other languages. Irene communicates with her family on the computer by chatting on facebook J.
