Cristian's Story

His name is Cristian Aguilar. Cristian is 16 years old. Cristian is from Guatemala. Cristian has six family members, two sisters, his mom, and his two brothers. He came to the United States four years ago. Cristian came walking and in a van. He was hiding with other people on the van. He came by himself with strangers. His family was already here in the United States. Cristian took four days to cross the border and two months between Guatemala and the United States. He went through Phoenix, Arizona and stayed there for three days.
The police never got Cristian when he was coming to the United States. Cristian learned English when he was 14 years old. He learned English by going to school. When Cristian was coming to the United States he said it was cold and scary. His family came to the United States in 2000. He didn’t see his family for seven years. He was excited to come to the United States because he was going to see his family. He felt very happy when he saw his family but he didn’t seed his mom because she was in the hospital having Cristian twin sisters. He though the United States was going to be very beautiful with a lots of buildings and a lots of lights but he got disappointed when he got here because it was not how he imagined.
