Zhong Shan's History

Today I am going to tell a story about ZhongShan, it’s a city where Quincy lived. The people named this city by using a successful person’s name that was called SunZhongShan. This person changed the destiny of China. This is a story about that person.

About 50 years ago, there was a president called YuanShiHai. He wanted to control all the power in China and become a dictator. He forced every city to get the power from there, but some city didn’t want to control by YuanShiHai; they tried to fight against him. They failed and got a terrible ending---the people were all killed.

In that time, a person called SunZhongShan, he didn’t want to see that any of the people were killed. He started the revolution in ZhongShan.  Then he went though every city and collected more revolutionists. In addition, this time the revolution failed. Luckily SunZhongShan still alive, but he couldn’t stay in China anymore.

He knew that this time he would fail because there were not enough revolutionists. He went to the U.S. and found some more revolutionists.  He found some revolutionist who can fight against YuanShiHai. They followed SunZhongShan back to China and started the second time.

This time the people responded to him. When he went  though the cities  in China, the people kept joining him. They wanted YuanShiHai to step down and give up his power. After a few years, finally he stepped down and SunZhongShan had built China. The people right now have set a memorial day to remember him, and the students in China have to learn about his history.
