FOR THE FUTURE

By :Dongming Qin
Gary Kuang is a 18 years old Chinese boy. In 2009, Gary and his family immigrated to the US to begin his new life. In fact, he did not want to come here but his family told him if you came to the U.S. that is good for your future. So he agreed to come.
During the first year in the U.S., he felt uncomfortable so much of the time. Things are different in the U.S. from China such as language, different living style, different food. there are so many differenes. All of these difficult things are the hardest part about living things in US is language different.

He feels sad on his first day in the US, because he can not change all of these things. The only one thing he can do is adapt to life and learn the language.
After the second year he has adapted to life. He came to a new school and made many new friends. At school he likes to play basketball but some times he likes to sit somewhere and talk with friends. He favorite subject is history because he likes to learn many countries history and history can teach people to not make the same mistake again.

Now he began love to life here. He likes the environment here, a lot more fresh air than China.  He likes to go alone by bus to enjoy this city’s landscape. When he enjoys the landscape he feels comfortable and at peace it made but it makes him miss his family, his friend, and his hometown in China. He still wants to come back China if he has the opportunity. When he sees his friends again he and his friends will be so happy.
